~ Happy New Year 2011 ~

Every day I have a list of what to do (mainly), every month I have a list of what to pay(definitely), and every year I have a list of what to change(ultimately). This year, my new year resolution is very simple, almost like last year (to complete those which has not been completed) – ! Yes, I’ve finished part of it in 2010. So I make myself some new resolution with highest hope that I’ll be able to accomplished at least the rest of them

2010 to me is a very challenging year, both exciting and frustrating. It made me realize that what I seek is not what I really want, what I kept is not what I really treasured, and what I hoped for is not what I will always get. It taught me to lie, faced deception, created misfortunes and delusion, conquering my biggest fear. It tested my patience, my will, my acceptance, my tolerance and my inner strength.

Therefore for 2011, I’ll do my best to overcome my shortcomings, and believe in myself more instead of trusting illogical explanation. And never to look back on things I’ve misses most in my life hoping it will make me feel better, but look forward to things that actually makes me feel happy.

Overall, I’m glad that my search is finally over, even with unexpected consequences, that I don’t have to search anymore. But that is between ‘you and me’, dear diary

Looking forward to a new chapter in my life, signing off for 2010!

~ First Iftar with Hubby, My Lil Princess and Frens ~

But yesterday when my office frens (thanks to Kak Siham) had arrange an iftar gathering, I was so excited bringing my hubby and my lil princess to attend and the view had turn to this:

Gosh it was so pack plus the parking lot was not many yet still people are coming in. Luckily we came early and had a available parking in the premise compound.

Since me and hubby are used to the arabic food...so we are okey with the environment.Actually we love it since this is our first iftar with Aliya!!

Guess what not only the fun of iftar yet the fun seeing my lil princess with my frens....Hear are some of the pictures taken. Credit given to Uncle Prashant.....

Mostly the pictures with my lil princess present..The best part there are so much looks on her face...And she is lovely!!!

~ Ramadhan Kareem A to Z ~

Sedar tak sedar bulan Ramadan sudah pun menjelma. Setiap Muslim pastinya telah mengetahui bulan ramadan yang merupakan bulan berkat, bulan rahmat, bulan keampunan serta punya banyak kelebihan. Pastinya setiap muslim juga selalu berdoa supaya diberi peluang dan kelapangan untuk melalui bulan ramadan dengan penuh keberkatan dan keharmonian.

Hampir semua muslim mengetahui ibadat puasa bukan bermaksud menahan diri dari lapar dan dahaga semata-mata, sebaliknya mempunyai pelbagai pengajaran dan hikmah yang tersendiri. Secara jasmaninya memanglah muslim yang berpuasa menahan diri dari makan dan minum serta meninggalkan segala perbuatan sia-sia, namun secara rohaninya ibadat tersebut lebih daripada itu. Seribu satu hikmah tersembunyi terkandung di dalamnya.

Pengertian ramadan A to Z yang boleh di kongsikan di sini adalah:

A Amalan	Sepanjang bulan ramadan amalan perlu di perkukuhkan dan mengikuti segala yang diperintahkan.
B Buka Puasa	Sunat namun elakkan pembaziran yang tidak perlu. Juga pastikan yang halal semata-mata. Kalau tak no point puasa sehari suntuk lepas tu masuk dalam perut makanan haram
C Cuci	Ramadan juga bulan untuk menyucikan jiwa dari segala kekotoran duniawi. Pembersihan dari dosa-dosa sebelum ini.
D Derma	Bulan ramadan juga bulan yang sesuai untuk menderma kejalan yang diredhai
E Ekonomi	Masa yang sesuai untuk menyusun ekonomi peribadi dan juga rumahtangga supaya tidak berlaku kes-kes ‘lari bajet’
F Fadhilat	Ibadah dan amalan sepanjang bulan ramadan mempunyai fadhilat dah kelebihan yang besar
G Ganda	Jika sebelum ini ibadat dan rukun agama dilaksanakan secara biasa sahaja ramadan tempat untuk melipatgandakan ibadah kerana fadhilatnya yang amat besar
H Hidayah	Setiap muslim sentiasa mengharapkan hidayah dan petunjuk daripada Allah SWT, semoga hidayah dipermudahkan sepanjang bulan ramadan nanti
I Ikhlas	Merupakan ‘determining factor’ untuk menentukan keberkatan dan pahala sesuatu ibadah yang dilaksanakan, tanpa rasa ikhlas kerana Allah, semuanya jadi sia-sia. Hanya lapar dan dahaga semata-mata
J Jemaah	Melalui solat sunat tarawih secara berjemaah akan menjadikan muslim satu komuniti yang kukuh dan bersatu
K Khusyuk	Ramadhan juga membimbing muslim menjadi khusyuk dalam setiap ibadat mereka.
L Lailattul Qadr	Malam yang penuh rahmat, keampunan dan keberkatan di dalamnya, sudah jelas dinyatakan di dalam Al-Quran melalui surah Al-Qadr.
M Muhasabah	Jika di dalam bulan-bulan lain muslimin sentiasa sibuk mengejar keperluan duniawi seeloknya pada bulan ramadan digunakan untuk muhasabah diri ke mana sebenarnya arah tujuan hidup ni.
N Niat	Niat puasa dan segala amalan mulsim bergantung kepada niat, dan rahsia niat kita hanya diketahui oleh Allah SWT sahaja.
O Omong Kosong	Sepanjang bulan ramadan ini elakkan daripada mengomong kosong tanpa faedah yang sudahnya tidak member manafat kepada kita semua
P Puasa	Nadi kepada keistimewaan bulan ramadan iaitu ibadah puasa itu sendiri yang mempunyai pelbagai hikmah dari segi fizikal dan juga rohani

RAMADHAN KAREEM!!

InsyaAllah, int the next days it will be the first day of fasting in the month of full of blessing; Ramadhan Al-Mubarak. Alhamdulillah, we are given another chance to fast and fulfill this month with a lot of good deeds and all the reward these deeds are being multiplied. Syukur alhamdulillah, syukur alhamdulillah, syukur alhamdulillah..

The month of Ramadhan is the month where Al-Quran is sent down, all gates of hell is closed and all gates of heaven is opened wide for all muslim who perform his deeds best. This month also, syaitaan is locked up and all the wrong doings done by the muslim is not because of the syaitaan but it has became the habit of the person. See, how an act can turn into a habit and it is hard to remove the bad habit when it became our flesh and blood.

As Prophet Muhammad SAW has said,"There has come to you Ramadaan, a blessed month. Allaah has made it obligatory on you to fast (this month). During it, the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are locked, and the devils are chained up. In it there is a night that is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is deprived indeed."

Here's some reminders about fasting. :)

Condition for fasting made obligatory

1. Islam – Islam is a requirement for all good deeds and all acts of worship to be accepted by Allah.

"As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert.
The thirsty one thinks it to be water, until he comes up to it,
he finds it to be nothing, but he finds Allâh with him,
Who will pay him his due (Hell). And Allâh is Swift in taking account."
(Surat An Nuur : 39)

The good deeds of a non Muslim are not accepted by Allah because he does not do them for the sake of Allah and the reward for the good deeds that he does is only in this life and not in the hereafter. Good deeds are of no avail in the hereafter if one is not upon the belief of tawheed and Islaam.

b. Age of baligh (Maturity) – One has to have reached the age of maturity in order for fasting to be obligatory upon him. It is the age of physical puberty, this is adulthood. The age of maturity is usually 14 for boys and 12 for girls. Upon attaining this age and fulfilling other conditions fasting becomes obligatory on each and every muslim. There is no excuse for him not to fast except those exceptions that will be mentioned later on. He/she will be held accountable for this if he/she does not fast and the parents as well if they did not teach them to fast.

c. Sanity – the person has to be mentally sane and this is the requirement for all acts of worship, as well as all transactions in Islam. And we get this from the hadith of The Prophet (sall Allâhu’ alayhi wa sallam) – “The Pen has been lifted from three: from the child until he reaches puberty, from the sleeper until he wakes up, and from the one who has lost his mind until he recovers.”

[Sunan Abee Dawood #4402]

The pen had been lifted meaning that he/she will not be accountable for his deeds if they fall into the three categories mentioned above.

d. Ability – Allah said in the Quraan:

"…No person shall have a burden laid on him greater than he can bear…”
(Al-Baqarah : 233)

The person has to have the physical ability to fast. If one has a physical problem or a health risk that can intensify due to fasting, or it avoids him from taking medications then he is not required to fast during the month of Ramadhan. If he is under coma or unconscious then he cannot fast as well because he does not have the ability to do so. And the rule to be followed regarding this if fasting is a burden that a person cannot bear then he should avoid fasting.

Condition for a fasting to be valid

a. Islam – As we mentioned above in the conditions, Islaam is required for a person’s fast to be valid and accepted. Even when a group of non-muslims decide to fast with other muslims for an event like Fast A Thon or when a police chief in the community fasts to show solidarity and they break their fast with the muslims then they will not be rewarded by Allah for this.

b. End of menstrual or post-natal bleeding – This almost always applies to the women. She cannot be in these states in order to fast. If this is the case for any woman then she cannot pray the salawaat (prayers) nor can she fast during this period. The expiation for this will be mentioned later on in another section. For more information or questions on this matter, she can go to www.islamqa.com to get her answers.

c. Pre-maturity (age of rushd) – Children of this age usually around seven, who are physically able are to be ordered to fast by their parents to become accustomed to fasting. This is not the age when a person is obligated to do it rather this is the age when if one does it then the fast is still valid. So when he reaches the age of buloogh and it is obligatory upon him, then it isn’t as tough upon him because he has done this before and knows what to expect.

The Prophet (sall Allâhu’ alayhi wa sallam) said, “Order your children to fast at seven and punish them for not doing it at ten”

d. Sanity – Same as mentioned above that an insane person cannot and is not required to perform any act of worship. When he regains his sanity he is required to fast again, until then the fast is not valid.

e. Intention from the night – Merely being aware any time in the night that one is fasting is sufficient to make the following days fast valid. As mentioned earlier this is for the obligatory fasts.

The Prophet (sall Allâhu’ alayhi wa sallam) said, “Whoever does not intend to fast from before dawn, there is no fast for him (i.e., his fast does not count).”

(Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi, classed as saheeh by al-Albaanee in Saheeh Abi Dawood)

This is an authentic hadith but there are certain complications surrounding it. This hadith doesn’t seem to apply to voluntary fasting because there are incidents with the Prophet (sall Allâhu’ alayhi wa sallam) when he would ask his wives whether they have food to eat and they would say that they had nothing to eat. So the Prophet (sall Allâhu’ alayhi wa sallam) would say that he is fasting. So from this we can deduce that it doesn’t apply to voluntary fasting and we can safely say that you can start a voluntary fast after you have started the next day.

All of above conditions are translated by one website which discussed the fiqh of siyaam or fiqh of fasting.

I hope all of us may gain the reward Allah has promised us. InsyaAllah. May this Ramadhan become the point of Hijrah for us to be a better muslim. Remember,

For each one are successive [angels] before and
behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah.
Indeed, Allah will not change
the condition of a people
until they change what is in themselves.
And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it.
And there is not for them besides Him any patron.

(Al-Imraan : 11)

there's this girl. from the first moment i saw her, something happened. and i immediately find myself feeling annoyed and judgemental towards her. its in the way she walks along the corridor as though she's walking on a runway. and her body language screaming "LOOK AT ME" and in the way she grins all the time showing her pearly whites to her friends that makes me think "no one is THAT happy..ALL the time" its not real. and its in the way she talk to the people around her looking all important and that sheepish smile never leaving her face.

6. Untuk anak2 Islam, latih mereka keluarkan 10% dari jumlah simpanan tabung 2 untuk disedekahkan di masjid pada setiap hari Jumaat (semasa solat Jumaat). Mereka akan faham konsep bersedekah & fadhilatnya.

7. Latih juga anak anda membuat kerja seperti basuh kereta, kemas bilik, jemur & lipat baju. Berilah mereka upah sebagai kefahaman untuk mencari duit kita kena kerja. (orang gaji/bibik juga dibayar kerana upah kerja rumahnya). Latih mereka kerja dengan upah berbayar di hujung minggu).

8. Beritahu anak2 kenapa kita harus membeli semasa Special offer, promosi, great saving dsbnya. Ajar mereka perlunya berjimat. Tidaklah mereka asyik membeli di musim yang tiada sale.

9. Latih mereka membuat senarai yang nak dibeli atau nak diganti seperti kasut sekolah, kasut sukan, alat tulis dsbnya. Bawa mereka ke pasaraya untuk melihat harga barang yang mereka kehendaki. Suruh mereka salin harganya. Balik rumah, bincang semula berapa kos yang diperlukan. Buka tabung ke-2 untuk mengetahui jumlahnya. Kira berapa lagi baki yang diperlukan. INGAT! Bantu mereka 50% dari jumlah keseluruhan.

10. Sentiasa ingatkan mereka supaya berjimat & beli yang perlu sahaja.

~ Kenapa Wanita Menangis ? ~

Suatu ketika, ada seorang anak laki-laki yang bertanya pada ibunya.

"Ibu, mengapa Ibu menangis?".
Ibunya menjawab, "Sebab aku wanita".
"Aku tak mengerti" kata si anak lagi.
Ibunya hanya tersenyum dan memeluknya erat.
"Nak, kamu memang tak akan pernah mengerti...."

Kemudian anak itu bertanya pada ayahnya. "Ayah, mengapa Ibu menangis?,
Ibu menangis tanpa sebab yang jelas". sang ayah menjawab,
"Semua wanita memang sering menangis tanpa alasan".
Hanya itu jawaban yang bisa diberikan ayahnya.

Sampai kemudian si anak itu tumbuh menjadi remaja,
ia tetap bertanya-tanya, mengapa wanita menangis.
Hingga pada suatu malam, ia bermimpi dan bertanya kepada Tuhan,
"Ya Tuhan, mengapa wanita mudah sekali menangis?"

Dalam mimpinya ia merasa seolah Tuhan menjawab,

"Saat Kuciptakan wanita, Aku membuatnya menjadi sangat utama.
Kuciptakan bahunya, agar mampu menahan seluruh beban dunia dan isinya,
walaupun juga bahu itu harus cukup nyaman dan lembut
untuk menahan kepala bayi yang sedang tertidur.

Kuberikan wanita kekuatan untuk dapat melahirkan dan mengeluarkan bayi dari rahimnya,
walau kerap berulangkali ia menerima cerca dari anaknya itu.

Kuberikan keperkasaan yang akan membuatnya tetap bertahan,
pantang menyerah saat semua orang sudah putus asa.

So...Our first ever Father's Day celebration...Me,Hubby and our lil' princess Aliya...!!!

It was 20 May 2010 and I am so blur how to celebrate the Father's Day to my hubby...I know it meant so much to him since this is his first ever celebration since being a father to our newborn princess Aliya on 6 May 2010..

Yet, I just basically complete my 44 days of confinement and I was hand full with all the routine to be arrange and learn with Aliya...cleaning up things since I was about to resume back to work...and thus I look almost like this...Can you imaging it...

So all I had to say to my darling hubby was to take and treat him out for a lunch and he was happy enough to accept it...But definitely I choose a place which it was the first ever both of us ever dining there....Guess where?

Yes ... It was Tony Roma's located at Midvalley which initially the que was so long but we had advantage since it was only 2 of us and a small space to cater Aliya's prem.

Funny things is we both was so into the enjoyment of the foods sampai lupa nak ambik gambar...hihih...Apa pun we really enjoy it and hope to dine again on a normal occassion.

To hubby, hope you really enjoy my treat and thank you so much for being a great friend, husband and now a definitely a good start as a father.

I love you sayang....

~' My First Ever Mother's Day Gift ~

For the first time in my 28 years of my life, I am called as a mother on 6 May 2010 when I delivered my lil' princess Nuroll Aliya Fadhilah. And with that I was so lucky to celebrate my first ever Mother's Day on 9 May 2010. There is no words to describe how happy and thankful I am to be given a chance by nature to carry the title as a "mother".

Myself and hubby did put a moment of discussion on how will our lil' princess called us. Mummy and Daddy ke?Ibu and Ayah ke?Mama and Papa ke?...Pening jugak..but we came into a conclusion that finally both of us will start to used Ummi and Abi to Aliya...sounds like the most suitable called to our baby towards us.

My hubby also take effort for the first time ever bought me a Mother's Day gift....I was so touch for his passion and commitment in rising up his family especially Aliya. He wanted to give the best for his precious daughter. Guess what he bought....

At the same time he also bought be a nipple cream to soothe me during my breastfeeding with Aliya...as I say he love both of us so much and I totally appreciate him so much...Thank you so much sayang....

Alhamdulillah...can you believe it!!

My lil' princess Aliya is turning 1 month TOMORROW!!!

So far I am still breastfeeding (BF) her even though there are times I cater her with formula milk. I know that there are readers out there are so keen giving exclusive BF to their newborn but I have valid reason why cater her both. But I can't denied that BF has a lot of benefits in a lot of ways.

PROS

Now, when it comes to the advantages of breastfeeding, there are many different ones. These advantages affect both the mother and the child. Many medical professionals feel as if breastfeeding is the right choice of nutrition for newborns. This is because of the fact that milk that comes from the breasts contains a high level of nutrients, vitamins, and other essentials that are beneficial to the health. Refer to the list below for a more detailed description of some of the pros of breastfeeding:
1. One of the most common issues that women experience after giving birth is getting all of the weight off that they have acquired while carrying the child. By breastfeeding, the body will naturally burn calories. This will result in less weight, and the extra weight to burn off more quickly.
2. One of the main issues that new parents experience is the many new expenses that are encountered when a child arrives. By breastfeeding, you can save a lot of money annually. There is actually no need to purchase formula when you breastfeed.

Sewajarnya setiap ibu haruslah memberikan bayi mereka kolostrum yang sangat berkhasiat itu demi kesihatan dan pertumbuhan bayi yang tercinta. Sesungguhnya kasih ibu sentiasa padu dan salah satu caranya untuk membuktikan kasih itu adalah dengan memberikan nutrisi yang terbaik untuk anak – anak. Dan sesungguhnya, tiada nutrisi lain yang sebaik dan seistimewa susu ibu. Hapuskanlah kerisauan mengenai mitos – mitos yang menyelubungi kolostrum ini kerana sesungguhnya setiap ciptaan yang Allah jadikan itu adalah yang sebaiknya untuk umat manusia. Maka yakinlah, jika seseorang ibu itu mampu mengandung dan melahirkan anaknya, maka mengapa pula dia tidak mampu menyusukan anak itu dengan susunya sendiri? Berdasarkan jumlah kolostrum pada 3 hari pertama kelahiran, ramai ibu merasa risau dan berpendapat bahawa susunya tidak mencukupi untuk bayi itu. Tidak ramai yang mengetahui bahawa jumlah yang sedikit (37 ml) itulah sebenarnya yang hanya diperlukan oleh bayi. Itulah sejumlah yang kecil untuk keperluan dan saiz perut yang kecil. Sesungguhnya persoalan susu tidak cukup pada hari – hari pertama kelahiran adalah tidak wajar diutarakan. Jika ibu itu mengharapkan susunya mengalir mencurah – curah sehingga 500ml pada hari pertama, memanglah mustahil. Ini kerana bayi yang masih kecil itu tidak memerlukan jumlah susu yang banyak pada mulanya. Indah sungguh ciptaan Mu ya Allah. Kau jadikan sesuatu itu cukup berdasarkan keperluannya. Tidak lebih dan tidak kurang. Mengapa masih ramai yang ragu dengan ciptaan-Mu yang satu ini? Sedangkan Kau juga telah berfirman yang maksudnya: Dan Kami wajibkan manusia berbuat baik kepada kedua ibu bapanya; ibunya telah mengandungnya dengan menanggung kelemahan demi kelemahan (dari awal mengandung hingga akhir menyusunya), dan tempoh menceraikan susunya ialah dalam masa dua tahun; (dengan yang demikian) bersyukurlah kepadaKu dan kepada kedua ibubapamu; dan (ingatlah), kepada Akulah jua tempat kembali (untuk menerima balasan). (surah Luqman: 14).

Alhamdulillah....

Syukur....finally I safely delivered a baby girl name NUROLL ALIYA FADHILAH BT. MOHD FADZLY on 6 May 2010 @ 3.27 am (Khamis malam Jumaat) di HUKM Specialist, Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras. It was a moment to be remembered throughout my entire life and also towards my hubby.

Di hening senja 5 May 2010 sejurus waktu maghrib, perasaan yang berbelah bahagi terhadap perubahan diri menguatkan lagi bahawa masanya sudah tiba. Ingin ku kongsikan detik dan sebahagian perbualan yang dapat ku ingati along the way to delivered my lil' princess....

5 MAY 2010

~ 7:45pm ~

Discovered that I was having this liquid or fluid running down my thigh...still not knowing that it was a sign that the time has come. Called my mum explaining the situation and she was shockingly screaming asking me to go to the hospital. Yet since there is no pain I again ignore it.

~ 8:00pm ~

Called hubby since he is still at work and told him that there are high probability that I am expecting soon. He sounded nervous ...more nervous than myself. With a simple answer he mentioned he is on his way now or never...Had a small giggle listening how worried he was...

~ 8:10pm ~

My SIL gave a call saying that she got a call from my hubby and they are on their way to my house together with my MIL. Aiyo... I do not meant to trouble them yet since my hubby sounded serious explaining my situation so they are also alarm...Yet I am still cool at one end...

~ 8:30pm ~

The in-laws arrived accordingly and soon after my hubby reached along home. After further discussion I was to be brought to the emergency for further confirmation of my situation since my due date was 6 May 2010.

~ 9:30pm ~

Spoken to my hubby that I was so hungry and still wanted to stop by for a lite meal before anything happend. Imaging that I was somehow craving for "thosai" and also teh ais...had them accordingly but first time ever I did not finish it...funny somehow I felt that some people at the restaurant can feel that I was so nearly to delivered and yet still having meal at my favourite shop...ihihi...makes me laugh every time I recall it.

~ 11:30 pm ~

Reached the emergency of HUKM and straight head to the do the further check up. With me was my hubby and my MIL.At that point of time my heart started to crumble...I am starting to get scared...None stop I was saying such prayers so that everything is in a good condition.

6 MAY 2010

~ 12:00 am ~

Laying in the check up room alone..hearing my baby heart beat makes me wanna cry...takut pun ada jugak memandangkan this is my first ever experience. Then came a nurse saying that they can't get a better record of my baby heart beat since the baby somehow is sleeping. They gave a good push to my tummy trying to wake the baby up. Alhamdulillah the baby respond positively.Sempat lah jugak my MIL and hubby melawat kat dalam since their are worried apa lah kita buat lama betul...hihi...concern tu...

NURSE: Sakit tak? Ada rasa contraption tak?

ME: Takde pulak....

NURSE: Huh?? Takde...betul nie?? Bukan apa..laluan dah buka 4cm tapi ketuban puan tak pecah lagi....

ME: (Blur)..biar betul...habis tu macam mana nie....??

NURSE: Nampaknya saya pecah kan air ketuban puan dulu then saya akan call Prof. Hashim for further advise.

ME: Yelah...(padahal dalam hati punyalah takut)

After seeking Prof. Hashim advice...

NURSE: Nampaknya puan dah boleh masuk wad bersalin yek...nanti kami siapkan yek..

ME: What!!! masuk wad bersalin...???Mana hubby nie...aiyo...serious babe!!

~ 1:30 am ~

Heading to wad bersalin bersama MIL and my hubby...hati berdebar-debar...Tuhan saje yang tahu..Once reached the nurse bagi jap for my final toilet moment and tukar baju...Hubby was always with me...At the same time my mom,opah and my lil bro is on the way to HUKM...Gosh my contraption is getting painful every minutes.

~ 1:50 am ~

Nurse came in and asked whether I wanted for any epidhural jap....with my brave heart I shook my head saying "No!"...hubby just stand beside me supporting my decision...how much I appreciate him for being at my side..

~ 2:30 am ~

Contraption is getting worse...had gas suction for making me wave throughout my pain..yet it did not work..aiyo..painful man...hubby was there to calm me down but the pain was so crushing...rupanya ini rasa orang nak bersalin...

~2:45 am ~

Called the nurse and seek for epidhural jap...but it was too late baby!!! So no choice I had to face it....the pain while delivering my baby...Mulut kumat kamit membaca surah yang boleh menenangkan perasaan nie...Tangan digeggam erat si suami ensuring that he was there...

~ 3:27 am ~

Alhamdulillah....sekujur tubuh ditatang menandakan diriku selamat bersalin...me and hubby was so relief that everything when smoothly...Sejenak insan baru itu dilahirkan..segala keperitan hilang sekelip mata...Itulah kuasa Yang Maha Esa...dan sesungguhnya aku amat bertuah dapat merasai kenikmatan menjadi seorang ibu...

So...it was the first so called the company dinner being held due to Madzlan's farewell party. He's leaving after serving about 7 years in IFSB...isn't that long enough to be in one place.Well asmentioned that he leave with dignity and honour....wonder whether I will have that passion to last that much long...huhu...

The dinner took place at the Sri Ayutthaya, Damansara and almost everyone attended the ocassion...

The food was great but I think its too pricey for me at this point of time to take out my hubby there...maybe next time ye sayang...I guess Hajris Mamak is good enough for both of us to hang out rite...affordable and just nice...hihi...don't get me wrong but one day I treat you ok..

Gosh...there is about 3 months to go before my due date and since then myself and hubby are so much in discussion about what name to be given to our new born baby girl. Eventhough we were so much looking forward for a new born baby boy, an additional "pink" in the family with be merrier to right? Yang ye nya kami dah prepare name untuk baby boy but bila tahu it was a girl, suddenly we find it very much difficult to find a suitable name.Or is it myself are to fussy in picking it....hihi..

I started off buying books related to pregnancy and also how to give names to baby. Dalam buku tu ada banyak nama baby berserta dengan maknanya. The things is when time change even names to be given to baby evolve..huhu..makes me more confuse is choosing it. Kebanyakkan bagi nama anak memang dah ada makna, tapi most people nowadays especially the "malay" tend to give nama yang panjang. Kekadang berpatah-patah sampai panjang berjela. Lagipun nama tu kan sebagai doa.

So ... apa nama anak kami ye?

So far we agreed to remain part of my name.."nuroll"...are we are still working to make the ending of it...whatever it is...a name remain a name as long as it carries the right meaning for our beautiful daughter...and I believe my hubby are working hard on it so that both of us are happy and when our daughter are grown up she will also like her name so much..

Thus,papa..let's get to work ya...

Still remember on one of my post that we attended the YOUREKA contest at KL Live...it was last year...25 November 2009...it was a blast and it was my first time entering the arena..most of the time a lot of concert are held but I was never interested to go...the environment did not make me believe I should belong there...hihi...eventhough that time I felt the same plus I was preggy...but demi suami tercinta kita pun pergi...also accompanied by my BIL, adeb hafiz...ada lah jugak kawan kan...

When experts have researched treatment options for stretch marks, they have found mixed results. It is possible that having a daily massage may be helpful in the prevention of stretch marks, but it is not clear which ingredient in various brands of stretch mark creams or lotions seems to do the trick.

As compared to the group of women who did not massage with stretch mark cream, fewer women in both research studies who used a topical ointment or cream developed stretch marks. One stretch mark cream used in a study contained the following ingredients: centella asiatica extract, alpha tocopherol and collagen-elastin hydrolysates. In the other study, participants used an ointment that contained tocopherol, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, elastin and menthol.

Researchers were not able to conclude which ingredient in the two types of creams helped to prevent stretch marks. Perhaps it is not the specific ointment or ingredient used, but the act of having a daily massage that helps to moisturize the skin and prevent stretch marks.

Yup...last weekend me and hubby took our time to drop by the Malaysia Chocolate Fair 2010 @ Midvalley. Guess what..time was not wasted at all. For the first time we eventually bought something upon my pregnancy term...Palmer Cocoa Butter Cream..

It was so cheap which initially the price was RM41.00 but then we bought it at only RM23.00!! Thank to my darling hubby for his gift and advise as for the best of me and his newborn girl!!

By the way...those who knew me know that I am some sort of a chubby girl...thus maybe my strech mark is not so obvious till know. I am so glad and so far there is no allergies in any way either myself or my baby.

Say hello to my little dah-ling inside of me who's been moving actively everytime the doctor scanned and is causing me all this excitement and also making me feeling whether everything is going to be orait, but hey I still love you. I love my newly princess....Fazrene's Junior...

I am officially 24 weeks now though the tummy has not make its grand appearance yet as many people mentined it, I can feel my pants is getting tighter and harder to button, though I still can wear 'em and I wear my kain most of the time without even bother to zip it. Luckily the kain manage to stay put and not fall down!

Fadzly has been talking to the baby a looooot of time and keep asking me about the baby. The other day he asked me "mama, baby sihat?" or "mama, baby nak makan ape?"...all I know that he has been so excited and putting all his attention to me and our baby...how much I appreciate his concern and loving manner..

I still worry about the giving birth part though. Still anxious in making decision whether by chosing private hospital is the best choice to give birth.Since we'll are hoping that either company is giving the maternity allowance thus we opt for private I've been thinking looong and super hard. After all I have history of being chicken shit in the government hospital and ended up with hours of long waiting.

Since the vicinity are my main concern, thus we opt for HUKM Specialist Centre. Its near to my house and we think it is also reachable to all family later on. Never mind lah, we think we still have a long way to go and think and then re-think and re-think again.

Today is the 3rd day of 2010 and my 3rd month of probation is coming to an end. How should I elaborate my new environment....I guess is a brand new experience and there are lot more to learn. My new organization is the best place for me to gather back my portfolio and with high hope I am building my career to the successful path.

~ 40 Weeks - My First Journey Through Pregnancy ~

A moment that I will never forget!!

Yes my first ever pregnancy!!! Can you believe it...neither could I actually but I am!!

On October 14th, 2009 some how or rather I had a fever which bring my and my hubby for a check up at Clinic Family @ Bandar Tasik Selatan. Further discussion was made and I was advise to take a pregnancy test and the result came beautifully unexpected...

Yes, I have been confirm to be pregnant with almost 3 months consuming!!! I could not imaging how my initial reaction towards this moment. What I remember I ran to my hubby and cried telling him that we are going to be a parent soon!! He was so delighted and gave me a big smile and kiss!!

So many things ran into my mind....I was terribly happy yet I was also scared....

My hubby called everyone and spread the good news and we are so happy to hear their reaction.

Again, this is just my initial writing in regards to my pregnancy and I will write more about it along the way...

Wow..things surely change around myself and hubby in this next few months and I guess I will be looking just like this by the time I am reaching my 40 weeks...

The Long Count Calendar of the Ancient Mayans ends on Dec 21 2012. There isn't much information regarding what the Mayans thought would occur in 2012, but the consensus of opinion is that there will be great change. To some people this means a positive, spiritual change. Others, like myself, consider that a catastrophic event may have been predicted.

There is zero scientific evidence that anything will happen, but there are numerous things that could easily threaten the human species in the year 2012, such as a geomagnetic reversal, asteroid strike or supernova. Or something more intimate, like a flu pandemic, or a nuclear war.

Apa pun this movie thrills us up, even though I slept in the first quarter of the movie...I think I was just damn tired from all the hectic week I've gone through.

All I know that the end of day will hit us one day and nobody knows when. Just keep ourselves remember who we are and don't forget that we have a obligations to fulfill as a qhalif on earth.

Finally after such a long time, we are back into the blogging system. Bukan apa so many things happened all this time and I just did not have the time to update plus I just lost the intention to share everything. But again, here I am to share back all those lost moments and I am sure to keep blogging as much as I can!!

Almost 2 months passed and there are so much thing I wanted to talked about yet I did not know where to start. Thus, to start the day I am currently at home...yeah my home...our home...finally after all the long awaiting moments Villa Laman Tasik has been our definite home.Yup all the transfer of name has been made and we are the official owner. In other words, we have our own house now!!!

What...the house picture...next time ya..will update that portion accordingly. Not now!!

Secondly, now I am already being employed!! Yes, I guess there is no other better place for me to actually start everything back from my previous experience. Just that it is now in a different industry which everybody is happy. Full support from my family and my darling hubby. Where I work...hihi...again I will share that in a different episode!!

Lastly and I guess this is the greatest moments which ever happened to me!! Currently I am 4 months pregnant!! Yes ..I am a mother to be and I expected to deliver by May 2010!! Alhamdulillah rezeki anak saya, I got a better opportunity in my career, our own beautiful house and the most loving life partner all the way, Mohd Fadzly Jaafar...darling hubby!!

Ok you all, I am just stopping by to say that "I AM BACK" and will keep updating possibly everything daily. As for a start me & my hubby is going to watch the movie ....

Wallaaa...wondering where have I been...here is my story to share since I am officially a HOUSE WIFE now...

Ever since I was growing up, I slowly accepted the idea of being a housewife after getting married or having a child. This scenario is very common in this developed country although women continue working after gave birth is increasing. Coming from a country where education is seen very important in order to get a good job, it shocked me that most women who resorted to being a housewife are very educated, even up to degree or master degree level (which I am among them ).

They are up-to-date and do not feel any inferior compared to working women. If they have extra time when their kids are at school, they can always have chit chat in a cafe with other housewives or work part time. Most of them are internet literate, read books and very professional in raising their own kids and managing their own house. I hardly hear any of the mothers raise their voice to their kids, what more to beat them. Most of them can cook, sew and do other house chores naturally and they seem very happy. Furthermore, they are respected as the same as other working women.

Shifting perspectives generally to my home country, Malaysia, this is rather peculiar. Once a woman is educated, they are expected to be a career woman. Earn their own income. Have some independence and should have enough to help their parents and siblings who are still schooling. Their parents would cry blood if their educated daughters quit their jobs and being fully dependent on the husband. Every cent the parents invested in the daughter's education would be seen wasted if their daughter decided to be a housewife. If the husband is encouraging his educated wife to be a housewife, the husband may be accused as ruining their daughter's bright future. A housewife is still a housewife. You will be downgraded to a lower social rank, unless you are a wife of a CEO or someone like that. Is this a correct thinking that we should hold on to?

When I was working, many of us working women complained about how things are. They are stressed at work, working till late and yet have to manage house, kids and husband too. Even both husband and wife are working, the wife is still the queen of the house. The house chores should be wife's responsibility. The husband will help if they like. Some are lucky or unlucky to have a maid. If that is the case, they have to deal with maid's problems as well. Some maids could even bring more problems than solving them... from abusing your children, stealing your stuff and up to stealing your own husband. Same goes to kids. Mothers are still expected to take care of their children's well being and education. Fathers decide and get to know the results. Sometimes it is just too demanding to divide a weak female into too many major roles. But what choice do we have? Most households cannot be supported by husband's single income.

Though we women complain about this, when given a choice whether to continue working or being a housewife (provided the husband is able) , many would choose to work. Why? It is too tiring to do the house chores 24/7. Some even do not have the skills to do so. They were busy studying and were sent to boarding school since they are 13. How do you expect them to know how to do house works? Working is such a good escape from being with the children all the time. Again, this is too stressful and exhausting. Therefore, by just giving birth and let the babysitter, grandmother or maid take care of their children is such a great solution. Seeing the children at night after coming back from work or during weekends is not that bad. All you know is that they have enough money to spend, you enroll them to as many classes as possible and you just check the end results. Simple, isn't it? So here we go, it is a no-no of being a housewife.

Apart from that, having to earn your own money, at least working women do not have to ask their husband's money to buy new clothes or things they like. Some fortunate ones, there is no problem there. The husband will provide anyway. But most of the time, this is not the case. You have to beg or even save your own money to buy stuff for yourself. Who would want to let go such freedom? Why do you want to be at home, sweating and stinky doing house chores when you can go to work in an air-conditioned office, wearing smart attires everyday. Again, less attractive to be a housewife.

At work, more and more women could climb the corporate ladder. This is never the case in Japan, believe it or not? It has always men to be holding top positions. So women in our country are much luckier. But are we really lucky? Imagine this. You are one of the upper management people. To be there, you must have sacrificed so much especially your time with your children, husband, family and even friends. You win greatly in one part, you lose a lot more on the other side of life. Your children may have problems due to lack of attention, your husband may be seeing some other girl and the like. Some even have to suffer from illnesses due to hyper stress. Again, responsibility as a mother and a wife are expected to be no less. So are we really lucky then? When women have more chance to hold top positions, more men will have to settle with lower level in an organisation. As a result, man could not earn or provide as much to the family and situation forces the wife to work too, sacrificing more on the family value. Is there any way to correct this? Or is this wrong to begin with?

Being 100% dependent on husband is somehow scary to some women. Especially to those who have been working before, who have had freedom of earning their own income. Why is that? There is a fear that when the husband is already shifting their eyes to younger and more beautiful woman and need you no more, you have no where to go.(This is getting more common now). Fuh... what a dilemma! But to think of it, we should not think of it. If we think like that, more than 50% probability it will be like that. Are you with me? Your life is how you see your life. What we should think is how to give your best as a mother, as a wife. If things really happen, then it is a challenge for you, written by Allah to test how strong you can be. After all, if you are educated, it should be no problem to start a career at any point of your life.

So, housewife, anyone?

I always have considerable degree of respects for a housewife. To me, they are very very lucky and tough women. But, having written this, I will still think twice to be a housewife... Uh-oh.. :p

June 1st, 2007 is where I was part of the Halligans. Just before I graduated, I have eventually secure myself a job with one of the leading construction and interior design company called Jim & Hall's (JHM). With their HQ based in Singapore, our local office is now located at Wisma UOA II, Kuala Lumpur. Yet before this office was officially open, I have been experience a working environment in a SOHO Office.

As time passed by, JHM grew and expend to the said new office and most of us was very much happy.

In a few days, our nation will once again celebrating its 52 years of Independent day! The freedom that we are having now is a gift from our forefather. It is a long run since 1957 that our forefather had fought for this freedom.

When we mentioning about Independent Day, the 1Malaysia concept come across my mind. I'm remaining skeptical BUT watching all those publicity and advertisements that non-stopping appearing in medias somehow grab my attention especially the 15Malaysia program by Malaysia young film makers. This 15Malaysia is consists of 15 short films that tell stories about Malaysia social-politic's truth. It reveals the unspoken truth in a polite & humorous manner. LOL

Malaysia, apart from its location as a free disaster zone, we are also known worldwide for our multicultural and ethnics background. Being skeptical, I believe that from now onwards, we are facing even more challenges in strengthen the existed relationship among races and religion parties.

Let have positive thoughts and high respect toward others if we want the same treatment.

Recently, apart from H1N1 health issues, our education system is raising concern among us due to its obvious weaknesses. Our concern rise to climax when the government had decided to revert the teaching in English back to Bahasa (I prefer teaching in English) and the new pop-up fake degree, diploma and PHD issues. Sigh! What the fish cracker! people are working damn hard in University to have their education recognized and yet some creatures do take easy route trying to own the fake degree or PHD by manipulation of money.

See, freedom is dirty if misused! Be grateful that we free from all kind of diseases, tortures or slavery... be grateful... freedom suppose to be a noble gift...

In a nutshell, Let have a Meaningful Independent Day this years! Let us reflect on our past and have positive thoughts and high RESPECT toward other parties despite of our cultural and religion principals.

The Nation's destiny is in our hand. Do remember that. Happy Independent Day!

Everyday we are bombarded with news of road accidents that often result in fatalities. The numbers are alarming as recent statistics from the Road Safety Department show that an average of 18 people are killed in road accidents everyday in Malaysia. The lives lost not only weigh heavily on the families that mourn them, but the country as well, for the passing of each of the thousands of lives lost on the road every year has an impact on the fabric of society and the economy.

But who is responsible for these very worrying numbers? We are quick to blame others and point out their weaknesses but unfortunately, we overlook the fact that we are often just as guilty of committing the same offenses and indulging in the same driving habits that lead to accidents. This vicious cycle has escalated to the point that many drivers no longer even think twice before doing something that they shouldn’t – it's as simple as "everyone else does it, why can't I?"

MUFORS is a community project that was set up not only to empower you, the Rakyat, to voice out your thoughts and concerns on road safety in the country but more importantly as a platform for all of us to take a minute to think about how we as road users can do our part to making our roads safer for all.

"Malaysians Unite for Road Safety" Day will fall on 9th September, 2009 (090909). The Big Day for Graduate, one of the student objective is to celebrate this big day a.k.a Convocation Day. The whole day of cheer full. For this day, most of the photographer taking for granted to give their services, whether there is studio photography or an outdoor.

For us, this opportunity cannot be left just like that. Yes, its my 2nd brother's convocation day located at University Technology Petronas (UTP), Tronoh - PerakDarul Ridzuan. Babe .... he graduated with a 2nd Upper Class in Chemical Engineering.

Congratulation to Syahenaz Kamaroll Zaman!! Well done bro!!

Finally, he got his scroll and now creating his path to glory in his career !! Caiyok bro!!

The ceremony was attended by the rest of our family members including our grandma and also our cousin a.k.a Anis. Dah tentu mama dan abah ada kat dalam dewan and here are some moments capture during our waiting period for the Big Guy to come out.

This is the first time I attended a convocation ceremony which is so quite. UTP have actually arranged its Convocation Fair far away from the Convocation Hall which made us very much unhappy since we can't get any things for remembrance. Lucky myself and hubby when and get the bouquet of flowers for him originally from Teluk Intan Market. Credit to the uncle for making a very nice bouquet with a reasonable price compare to those sold outside the hall.

With the nice bouquet of flower especially not for us...so a nice model to make it more nicer...hihi..

So the moment have end for the grand ceremony. My bro recieved his scroll from Dato Dr Mahathir himself. So here are the joyous moment that has been captured and to be share to all...Enjoy!!

So, it came to the end of the day. Everybody is tired and hungry for lunch since they have not taken their breakfast yet. Myself and hubby already planned to drive straight back to Kuala Lumpur since we both worked on the next day.

Finally my eldest cousin from my dad side, Mahzura Amri have ended her single life when she tied the knot with her soul mate Mr. Hezrik on July 26th, 2009. Bertempat di rumah beliau sendiri (seperti yang tertera di peta lokasi dibawah) dimana majlis berjalan dengan penuh kemeriahan.

Ramadan al-Mubarak is the holiest month of the Islamic calendar, when Muslims fast by refraining from eating, drinking, sexual conduct, smoking, and indulging in anything that is in excess or ill-natured; from dawn until dusk, and are to be especially mindful of other sins. Fasting, one of the Five Pillars of Islam, is meant to allow Muslims to seek nearness to Allah, to express their gratitude to and dependence on Him, to atone for their past sins, and to remind them of the needy. They are also expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam by refraining from violence, anger, envy, greed, lust, harsh language, gossip and to try to get along with people better than normal. In addition, all obscene and irreligious sights and sounds are to be avoided.

As narrated by Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 31, Number 123)

This year in Malaysia, the Ramadan fast begins tomorrow, Saturday, 22 August 2009.

Some verses from the Holy Quran pertaining to Ramadan and fasting:

O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,-

(Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.

Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.

Permitted to you, on the night of the fasts, is the approach to your wives. They are your garments and ye are their garments. Allah knoweth what ye used to do secretly among yourselves; but He turned to you and forgave you; so now associate with them, and seek what Allah Hath ordained for you, and eat and drink, until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread; then complete your fast Till the night appears; but do not associate with your wives while ye are in retreat in the mosques. Those are Limits (set by) Allah: Approach not nigh thereto. Thus doth Allah make clear His Signs to men: that they may learn self-restraint.

~ Am I Going To Be Part Of The Malaysia Government ~

Had I ever attend any interview scary than this.....Interview session with the Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA)....well it was an experience that I will cherish...

Yes!!!

Finally, for the 2nd conservative time I got the called interview for the SPA. Details as per listed below:-

That very morning was raining very heavily but I am so bless that my hubby was willingly taking his day off to accompany me to the session. He has been supporting me throughput my career path in every aspect. We left home at about 6:45 am when it was still drizzling. Both of us have actually scout the exact location the night before to avoid any misleading or late coming.

Park our car not far from the location and saw a place where we can have a light breakfast. Kak Ita did mentioned that there is a nice stall of Nasi Lemak called "Nasi Lemak Tanglin". But since I was so nervous, I just had a hot drink and some kuih.

After the registration session I was schedule to be the forth candidate of the day and it took such a long time (as we always expected that this is how slow our government is - mostly in every aspect). Guess what our interviewer came later...that was the first one who came 1 hour passed 9 am. Then the 2nd interviewer came almost an hour later. Gosh just imaging the agony I am going through. Pity hubby tunggu punya lah lama....sayang Eb!!!

Well called for the position of Penolong Akauntan Gred W27. During the interview session, here are some of the question that they asked:-

(1) Who is the Akauntan Negara?

( 2) If I am going to be appointed as per the addressed post, what will be my job scope as per stated in the JPA website?

(3) How does the government earned their income?

(4) A scenario question whereby I am appointed as a frontline person and there is a personnel came with a voucher with their name on it. Are they able to claim?

(5) What is my view in regards to the Malaysia's Government nowadays?

So, the question was answer thoroughly and I felt good about it. Chances to get the post is highly expected...Cewah macam kita lak yang menentukan..But I pray so hard that I will get this opportunity....Bukan apa orang kata benefit nya banyak ...

On August 4th, 2009 my hubby had and 2 tickets premier invitation for the movie of G.I Joe or in a way I always wrongly pronounce it as G.I JONES...pathetic!!The show was held at GSC Midvalley and a few local artist turn up which I basically seen only Burn ...the DJ.

The story is set at Brussels-based GIJOE, an acronym for the Global Integrated Joint Operating Entity, and revolves around an international co-ed force of operatives who use high-tech equipment to battle Cobra, an evil org headed by a Scottish arms dealer.

Set ten years in the future, the film is an origin story, showing the rise of the Cobra Organization. Stephen Sommers said, “For people who know nothing about it, it’ll make sense. Eventually from my point of view this movie is so advanced from where we are now and some of the effects are just not relevant. By 3/4 of the movie you will already expected what will be the end. Plus action movie which included irrelevant romance is not my favourite.

However, my eyes kept looking at this actor... yes its him Channing Tatum. I started to recognized him when he was starring the movie "Step Up".

Nevertheless, again I would like to thanks my hubby for the invitation and I always looking forward upon our time spend together sayang!!!

Well,bile dok bersembang pasal h1n1 nie...pastinya yang bersekolah...apsal ler skolah x tutup...yang bekerja pun x kurang hebatnye...wajarkah ditutup...SMS a untuk ya - b untuk tidak...

Alhamdulillah, buat mase nie blum ader lagi kenalan dan sahabat handai yang disyaki...namun harus di ingatkan kalau bleh elak...kite elakkan...kalau dah terbeli mask tu jgn plak tak pakai....hihihi...

~ A Trip to Tampin & Jelai ~

Another trip was being schedule and this time is with my in-law's family...I mean the whole lots of them...From my MIL to the youngest grand-daughter had join the 2 days and 1 night trip. Eventually there are occasion to attend which then turn up to be a nice family trip since the Ramadhan is just around the corner.

We all left around noon which make the heat was so dreadful HOT!!!

First stop was..... Nilai Satu (1) which is full of textile here and there...

Kak Zila was scouting for Raya's textile for the whole family. Kak Ita was also fishing some good clothes for herself. Bought a pair for Mummy and her MIL. How nice!!! Not to forget Bro Bobo pun bought a pair for Mummy. Bersalahnya rasa cause myself and hubby tak bought anything for her. We only bought a pair for Mak Teh since we are going there later. Hopefully it is still not to late to get a Raya's gift for Mummy before the big day come!!! Nak buat macam mana bulan nie both of us sengkek sikit...tak jugak sikit banyaklah jugak. Alhamdulillah eventhough kami "broke" yet we still there for each other through all the hardship we both face. Alamak sentimentel pulak!!

We continue our journey for our next stop....another Majlis Cukur Jambul by the Singaporean's cousin family located @ Tampin...

Gosh the traffic was so bad as if festive is just around the corner. The stress part was in between Nilai till Seremban!!So many accidents along the way from those who are just arrogant on the road.Padan muka pun cause making my life miserable for not following the correct lane!!

Mak Teh has plan early to held Majlis menyambut Puasa since last month. As usual everybody will expect a good dish from her and I can say that her dishes are extremely undeniable for me not to eat more...Guess what lauk semua sedap and I tambah nasi sampai 3 kali and ratah semua lauk udang...Lauk ikan keli pulak punya lah pedas but the spices does not stop me!!!

Ooooo....yes definitely we did attend the said party. Eventhough myself and hubby felt pretty much weird since everybody came with their baby yet both of us came with our tummy empty!!!

Eventually how do we get connected to this beautiful family is because my hubby was Airyll's father roommate. Yes....Mr. Hafiz a.k.a Moro was the guy my hubby was attached when he was studying back ini University Teknologi Malaysia a.k.a UTM.

I felt that I just had attend their wedding but time pass so fast which now they have being bless with one adorable son....Airyll Hazz...(now thinking what will my baby name be if is going to be a boy...as if I am consuming now...gatal).

The party was a blast to the kids and I met a few new people...the group of mothers and mother to be. Life is so colourful when we have children and I am praying so hard that my time will come soon. Me and my hubby just cannot wait upon the arrival of this new individual in our lifes.

~ Yasmin Ahmad the Storyteller Leaves Legacy of Film ~

I’m not a fan to Malay movies, I don’t watch Malay movie in the cinema, I might ter’watch Malay movies during the Raya movie specials on TV.. but when it comes to Malay movies by Yasmin Ahmad, I never get bored watching, especially TV commercials made by her.

I think that the whole Malaysian have already knew the sad news that Yasmin Ahmad (Malaysian active film maker) died last Saturday at 11.25pm. I’ve always admire her creative works in the advertising and film industry for making Malaysian into another level of way beyond typical Malaysian standard.

YASMIN Ahmad – local filmmaker extraordinaire who touched many hearts and minds with her distinctly down-to-earth Malaysian productions – passed away on July 25, after suffering a stroke and brain haemorrhage. She was 51.

Famed for her groundbreaking Petronas TV commercials even before she made her first film, Yasmin often professed to a humble beginning in her moviemaking career, by volunteering to make a commercial for free, for a client who lacked the funds.

Yasmin’s commercials – mostly celebrating the country’s independence or touching on issues close to the heart of Malaysians – successfully brought her out of obscurity and into the limelight. Soon after, came a string of movies – always bearing messages of racial harmony and familial ties – which pushed the envelope, challenged the norm and attempted to bring about change.

She quickly became a name closely linked to the rise of Malaysia’s independent filmmakers. A friend to many young directors, she struggled with them to bring a whole new edge to Malaysian films.

Despite receving numerous accolades, Yasmin always underplayed her role as a filmmaker. She was, after all, she would say only a part-time filmmaker, but a full-time executive creative director with an advertising firm. For Yasmin, making movies was almost a hobby.

Born in Bukit Treh, Muar, Johor on July 1, 1958, Yasmin graduated from Newcastle University, Britain in psychology, and began her career as copywriter with Ogilvy and Mather before joining Leo Burnett as joint creative director in 1993.

In 2003, she made her first feature film, Rabun, a TV movie produced for TV3. But it was 2004’s Sepet, her first cinematic release, that won her international accolades. Her first award for Sepet was the Grand Prix at the Creteil International Women’s Film Festival in France. Later that year, the film also picked up the Best Asian Film award at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

Sepet presented a story that challenged stereotypes and perceptions of what a Malaysian mainstream film could be. At the heart of it was a sweet relationship between a boy and a girl, kept apart because they are of different races.

Since then, she made another four feature films (Gubra, Mukhsin, Muallaf and Talentime), all of which had been screened at international festivals.

Most of them are stories that revolve around her own family. These were not your average Malaysian movies. Sepet opened with a Chinese boy reading a Rabindranath Tagore poem, then dancing to a classic Malay song. Gubra opened with a bilal’s wife preparing breakfast for her husband to the strains of a Hindi song. People took notice.

Her biggest win came in 2007, when Mukhsin (2006), her ode to childhood love, garnered two awards – the Grand Prix from the Kinderfilmfest International Jury and a Generation K-Plus Crystal Bear Special Mention – at the 57th Berlin International Film Festival, one of the top three festivals in the world.

Her latest film, Talentime, has been selected for this year’s Tokyo International Film Festival, from Oct 17 to 25.

Yasmin had just embarked on two international projects, a Japanese-produced film called Wasurenagusa (Forget Me Not) which features a Malaysian-Japanese cast, and Go Thaddeus!, a Singaporean production about the short but inspiring life of the late Singaporean triathlete Thaddeus Cheong.

She is survived by husband Abdullah Tan Yew Leong.

TaaaDaaa...Baru hari ini aku dapat nak buat update yet there so many things to talk about...so let me start one by one. Eventually, last week was full of schedule either on work or with mu hubby. But among all of it, my hubby had gave me a new title...."Queen of the Castle". This is all because of my favourite utilities at home which I really can't let it go much!! My credit is to be given to this particular company.

Two main reason which is:-

My hubby works there and makes people happy....we all happy watching tv...ihih..
My hubby got employee benefit to install astro FREE with all the package included...ihih.

And this is the key to be a Queen....hehehe...

Especially the blue color controller...ihih....sampai habislah baterry nak melayan kerenah saya yang nak tengok itu dan ini...semalam baru ganti ....

Draw up a to-do list for the coming week so that you can enjoy your weekend without being stressed out about work....[guess what my list never runs out and that is why I am in the accounting line.Money everyday!!]
Step 2

Put in a little more time on Friday evenings and finish everything that needs to get done – don’t be lazy and put things off till Monday. You might hate doing it then, but it’ll make Mondays a little easier to deal with!....[eventually we here have alternate Saturday yet for me there are always redundant work by Monday]

Sleep at a decent hour on Sunday – make sure your body gets enough sleep...[decent sleep with my hubby...tido ke aku..uhuhuh]

This way you get more time on monday. You can plan following things on monday to get rid of those blues....[from blue it change to other color..can you believe that]

For Monday -
Sleep in for a longer time on Monday mornings - you can do this by planning your ensemble, preparing your lunch etc. on Sunday evening.....[giler apa..mana boleh aku nak tido longer on Monday morning...dah lah public transport Malaysia nie macam tak public pun..uhuh...]
Step 8

Put up a picture of your boss in your room and practice throwing darts at it – it’s a great stress-buster and you’ll feel much more cheery at work....[wish that I am able to do that yet I can't since my place are so open that rather that throwing to the picture might as well I throw directly to my boss....sape yek...ceh...buat tak tau lak..]
Step 9

Have a nice hot shower and pamper yourself with some nice bath products while listening to your favourite music...[yes...yes...darling get me the water heater up lah....quick...]
Step 10

Put some effort into dressing up and looking good. Wear something that makes you look and feel good, use your favourite make-up and spritz or your most expensive perfume. If nothing else, the compliments you’re bound to receive will have you running to work...[ I am always looking good everyday lah....looks are so essential man...]

Great news to all Red Devils fans, Manchester United are coming to Malaysia for a live match. A part of their Asian 2009 tour, the July 18 match will see the Red Devils fielding their main team, definitely a match that fans of world class football should not miss.

~ Superb Weekend ~

Last weekend was a superb one for me and my hubby. After all those schedule planned out for both family side finally we both got out own time together. Eventually, I was working on Saturday (July 4th, 2009) yet I am so happy cause my MIL was sending me to work together with my hubby and his niece, Ochee.

That is my first time my MIL actually know the exact location of my office since I got married. Took them for a breakfast first at one of the Nasi Lemak stall nearby Kg. Bharu. I was so happy and really all of them happy.

Busy day at work made me so anxious to watch the mega box office movie, Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen. I actually walked all the way to Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur (which is only about 5 minutes walk..hihih) the day before and ques for the tickets since online booking was jammed up and the tickets was selling very fast. Finally secure 2 tickets at 3:45pm.

Lunch Time

Waktu kerje habis pukul 1:00 pm. My hubby dah pun tunggu kat Pavillion so aku pun terus je ke sana. Reaching there somehow aku stop tengok kat Tangs!!!Huhuh....it was sales sesson yet I am just keeping my financially breathing. Can't vest like I used to be....But I appreciated so much that myself is changing to be better in expenditure.

Am I....NOT!!

Both of us head down for lunch and we made a deal to have it at Carl's Junior....those huge and gigantic burger....Here are some moments of us....
