~ Our First Father's Day Celebration ~

So...Our first ever Father's Day celebration...Me,Hubby and our lil' princess Aliya...!!!

It was 20 May 2010 and I am so blur how to celebrate the Father's Day to my hubby...I know it meant so much to him since this is his first ever celebration since being a father to our newborn princess Aliya on 6 May 2010..

Yet, I just basically complete my 44 days of confinement and I was hand full with all the routine to be arrange and learn with Aliya...cleaning up things since I was about to resume back to work...and thus I look almost like this...Can you imaging it...

So all I had to say to my darling hubby was to take and treat him out for a lunch and he was happy enough to accept it...But definitely I choose a place which it was the first ever both of us ever dining there....Guess where?

Yes ... It was Tony Roma's located at Midvalley which initially the que was so long but we had advantage since it was only 2 of us and a small space to cater Aliya's prem.

Funny things is we both was so into the enjoyment of the foods sampai lupa nak ambik gambar...hihih...Apa pun we really enjoy it and hope to dine again on a normal occassion.

To hubby, hope you really enjoy my treat and thank you so much for being a great friend, husband and now a definitely a good start as a father.

I love you sayang....

~' My First Ever Mother's Day Gift ~

For the first time in my 28 years of my life, I am called as a mother on 6 May 2010 when I delivered my lil' princess Nuroll Aliya Fadhilah. And with that I was so lucky to celebrate my first ever Mother's Day on 9 May 2010. There is no words to describe how happy and thankful I am to be given a chance by nature to carry the title as a "mother".

Myself and hubby did put a moment of discussion on how will our lil' princess called us. Mummy and Daddy ke?Ibu and Ayah ke?Mama and Papa ke?...Pening jugak..but we came into a conclusion that finally both of us will start to used Ummi and Abi to Aliya...sounds like the most suitable called to our baby towards us.

My hubby also take effort for the first time ever bought me a Mother's Day gift....I was so touch for his passion and commitment in rising up his family especially Aliya. He wanted to give the best for his precious daughter. Guess what he bought....

At the same time he also bought be a nipple cream to soothe me during my breastfeeding with Aliya...as I say he love both of us so much and I totally appreciate him so much...Thank you so much sayang....

On Mothers Day, pay your most humble tribute to Mother!
Tribute To Mother

Mothers are everything for us when we are small...our lives revolve around her. For everything that we need we call mother. To protect us from all perceivable dangers we want her around us. To take us out we hold her arms. To kiss away our wounds we run to her. And for a warm hug and love we look for her. She is the focal point of our lives, the greatest human being in the world or should we say divinity on earth. On the special occasion of Mothers Day pay tribute to your mother - the greatest blessing of God on you.

On Mothers Day Thank your Mother
There is simply no way we can ever really thank mother for all she has done for us. She is the one who will be awake all night when we are sick. Praying to God to make us well and be ever ready to bear the pain that we may be experiencing. She is the one to wake up early in the morning to make the nicest tiffin and endure all our tantrums. Mothers are the ones who would forever complain that we are not eating enough or not eating right. They would cook all sorts of things so that we be strong and healthy. Mothers infact, worry more for our examinations than we must. They would take pains to complete our school projects leaving all other works behind while we play around with friends or just while away time watching movies.

On Mothers Day Apologise to your Mother
Mothers are the one on whom we put all the blame for our failures. We would not hesitate once to point her single faux pas though she would not miss even a slightest opportunity to praise us. Isn't it tough to imagine how she must have borne our temper tantrums when we were teenagers. And how hard we must have made her life by behaving so rude and difficult. And yet she was so astonishingly cool. It it easy for the kids to be so demanding from parents, specially mothers as we take her affection and care so much for granted. Most often to the extent of selfishness. Mothers Day is the right time to apologise for all the troubles that we gave to our moms, without even realising at most times how troublesome we must have been to her.

Celebrate Mothers Day with your Dear Mother
Mothers Day is the perfect day to celebrate the joys of having a mother. It is the time to make amends for not being able to spend quality time with her. So turn your wrongs right by making all efforts to give a perfect Mothers Day to your mother. Think about her likes and dislikes about gifts and idea on celebration and act accordingly. Strive to make Mothers Day absolutely hassle free for your mother and take the responsibilities on yourself for a day. Pamper her a little on this special day of hers just as she pampers you all the year round. Give her a warm hug and a big kiss as you wish her a Happy Mothers
Day!

~ Breastfeeding for Lil' Aliya ~

Alhamdulillah...can you believe it!!

My lil' princess Aliya is turning 1 month TOMORROW!!!

So far I am still breastfeeding (BF) her even though there are times I cater her with formula milk. I know that there are readers out there are so keen giving exclusive BF to their newborn but I have valid reason why cater her both. But I can't denied that BF has a lot of benefits in a lot of ways.

PROS

Now, when it comes to the advantages of breastfeeding, there are many different ones. These advantages affect both the mother and the child. Many medical professionals feel as if breastfeeding is the right choice of nutrition for newborns. This is because of the fact that milk that comes from the breasts contains a high level of nutrients, vitamins, and other essentials that are beneficial to the health. Refer to the list below for a more detailed description of some of the pros of breastfeeding:

1. One of the most common issues that women experience after giving birth is getting all of the weight off that they have acquired while carrying the child. By breastfeeding, the body will naturally burn calories. This will result in less weight, and the extra weight to burn off more quickly.

2. One of the main issues that new parents experience is the many new expenses that are encountered when a child arrives. By breastfeeding, you can save a lot of money annually. There is actually no need to purchase formula when you breastfeed.

3. The next advantage to feeding your child by this method is that there is a lot of flexibility. If you want to feed directly from the breast, you can. If you want to pump the breasts and then store the milk in bottles for later feedings, you can do this as well. This makes feeding extremely simple and convenient.

4. It has been discovered, through scientific studies and medical case studies, that women who feed their child in this manner are less susceptible to developing serious health complications like breast cancer and even ovarian cancer.

5. The next advantage to breastfeeding a newborn child is that this is part of the natural bonding process. It is important to bond as early as possible, and breastfeeding starts on day one of the child’s life!

CONS

Believe it or not, there are actually some cons when it comes to breastfeeding. While these disadvantages can be easily over powered with the advantages, in order to make a decision on whether or not this is the right choice for you and your family, it is only best to consider these things as well. The following list details the disadvantages many have found while breastfeeding:

1. The first disadvantage is that when a mother breastfeeds, it puts a lot of pressure on her. Ultimately, as a mother, you will be responsible for every single feeding that your child experiences. Sure, it is true that you can pump the breasts in order to store milk and/or allow others to feed the baby; this can also prove to be a large hassle.

2. While breastfeeding, you may notice that you feel more tired than usual. This is because this drains a lot of energy from the body. In addition to this, you may start to experience dryness in the nipple area, as well as other aches and pains. These symptoms are generally relieved by various over-the-counter pain medications, but many do feel this is one of the down sides to feeding in this manner.

3. Those that wish to work from home or go back into the workforce may find it difficult to find time to do the things that they need to do on a daily basis. The average newborn feeds approximately three to four hours a day, and for the busy woman, this may prove to be a burden on the schedule.

4. Many women find it uncomfortable to breastfeed in front of other people. This means that special care and consideration should be made when going somewhere because you do not want to have to feed the child while you are away.

5. Breastfeeding has often been deemed as a difficult task to accomplish. Learning how to perform this can be a bit challenging and you may find yourself becoming upset or anxious as a result of it.
